Rules Engine Properties dialog
The Rules Engine Properties dialog is where you can enable server-side processing, or specify a Super User and a Rollback User if you are not using server-side processing and your users are using an older (pre-CONNECT Edition Update 3.2) version of ProjectWise Explorer.
Opens when you right-click the Rules Engine node and select Properties.

| Execute on server | If on, Rules Engine processing is handled by the ProjectWise Integration Server instead of the ProjectWise Explorer client. |
| Super User | The Super User is the
ProjectWise account that will be used for
actions that are marked on the rules matrix as requiring a
"super user" (Super User=TRUE).
The super user will be used to carry out an action if the user performing the operation does not have permission to do so. For example, with the Super User setting, an attribute can be set, even though the user does not have write access to the document in the current state. When such an action occurs, Audit Trail will show the Super User as the user who carried out the action. |
| Rollback User | The Rollback User is the ProjectWise account that will be used for rolling back failed operations. |
